PLAYPAD is an interactive device that uses RFID authentication. Place something with an IC tag on top of the pad and the embedded information or content is read, allowing you to interactively control a system or network. For example, if you have a PLAYPAD, you can turn your child's clean-up time into a fun game with sound. Attach IC tags to their toys, and when they pick up their toys on top of the pad, it responds with sound or video. PLAYPAD connects people and things interactively to generate new play.
